**About the Role:**

As a key member of our Amici team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager in overseeing product quality and operational standards.
  • Direct marketing efforts and adapt to market conditions.
  • Manage and train other managers and staff in the stores.
  • Effectively manage sales and profitability, including budgeting and reporting.

**Operational Excellence:**

  1. Ensure complete understanding of Amici policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  2. Maintain store objectives in sales, profitability, service, and quality.
  3. Execute monthly sales and marketing plans.

**Food Management:**

  • Ensure all food and products are prepared and served according to Amici recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Personally inspect outgoing food to ensure quality.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, equipment, and food storage areas.

**Inventory and Equipment Management:**

  • Ensure accurate receiving of food products and maintain stock levels.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

**Cash Management and Sanitation:**

  • Maintain control of the restaurant's cash fund and adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Maintain an impressive appearance of the facility, including sanitation and cleanliness.

**Administrative and People Management:**

  • Prepare administrative paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules.
  • Adhere to Amici Customer Service Training standards.
  • Cover areas during heavy shifts to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Assist in manpower scheduling and management to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Evaluate staff performance and morale, striving to improve these areas through communication and leadership.
  • Effectively communicate with management to ensure efficient operations.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
