Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily reconciliations for bank accounts, e-wallets, third-party payment platforms, and intercompany transactions. This involves ensuring consistency and accuracy in system records and actual transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily reconciliations for various financial platforms.
  2. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and actual transactions.
  3. Prepare monthly reconciliation statements as part of the month-end closing process.
  4. Generate accurate and detailed reconciliation reports for internal review and external audit.
  5. Analyze root causes of variances and work cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  6. Assist in configuration and testing of reconciliation systems, improving rules and matching logic.
  7. Maintain complete and auditable reconciliation documentation.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in reconciliation or accounting is required, preferably in banking, shared service centers, or payment platforms. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential, with familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine) being a plus. You should possess high attention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills, as well as excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. A good command of written English is also preferred.
