Job Title: Claims Resolution Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering phone inquiries pertaining to workers' compensation claims from medical providers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve complex claims-related issues in a timely and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.

  • Utilize advanced knowledge of StrataWare, CompIQ, and Call Track systems to manage calls and provide accurate information to customers.

  • Stay up-to-date with state regulations and guidelines related to workers' compensation, ensuring compliance and accuracy in claims resolution.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing faxes, resubmitting bills, and updating spreadsheets in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Process medical bills, coding, or data entry with high accuracy during downtime or as assigned, adhering to established quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum one year of customer service experience (voice).

  • Ability to learn ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT/HCOC coding.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in workers' compensation.

  • Two years of experience in a medical setting.

  • Six months of experience in bill review department.
