Job Title: Auto Glass Warranty Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and adjudicate vehicle warranty claims related to auto glass services. This position is dedicated exclusively to handling and resolving issues strictly related to windshield damage, including water leaks, air leaks, molding issues, and possible cracks.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' direct experience in handling vehicle warranty claims in the automotive service industry.
- A background in the auto glass industry is highly desirable.
- This role requires strong decision-making skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to balance customer satisfaction with company policies.
- The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and remote communication tools is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling all incoming warranty claims related to auto glass, including investigating each claim thoroughly by reviewing job history, technician notes, photos, and customer-provided documentation.
- Communicating directly with customers to assess concerns, explain warranty coverage, and set proper expectations.
- Working with technicians to coordinate inspections, repairs, and follow-ups on warranty cases.
- Approving or denying warranty claims in accordance with company policies, always protecting the company's interests and ensuring fair, consistent decisions.
- Documenting all interactions and outcomes accurately in our CRM system.
- Managing escalated cases and sensitive customer situations with professionalism and clarity.
- Educating customers about warranty coverage, exclusions, and procedures.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Minimum 5 years' direct experience handling vehicle warranty claims in the automotive service industry.
- Experience in the auto glass industry is a strong plus.
- Proven expertise in adjudicating warranty claims, reviewing supporting evidence, and communicating clear decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to interact confidently with customers and technicians.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance customer satisfaction with company policies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM software and remote communication tools.
