Insurance Account Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our organization and clients. This critical role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions. As an account manager, you will focus on delivering exceptional service while supporting sales and business development efforts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present quotes from multiple carriers, comparing and reviewing options to ensure optimal results. Enter quote information into our management system and prepare documents and applications for policy issuance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly. Foster strong relationships through regular communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Manage existing insurance policies to ensure they meet client needs. Assist with policy renewals, amendments, and endorsements, providing guidance on available options.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop new business opportunities, cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients. Provide quotes, proposals, and presentations tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policy details, and transactions. Process applications, claims, and other insurance documentation efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in insurance account management or a similar role, with a strong track record of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and insurance management software, with a working knowledge of AMS 360.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in managing client accounts, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
