Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to lead our month-end close process and serve as a consultant to management teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire month-end close process across multiple companies.
  • Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.
  • Support monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
  • Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
  • Collaborate on intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare annual audit materials and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs.
  • Be willing to assist with any accounting function when necessary.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship skills with ability to work with others at all levels.
  • QuickBooks Online and Xero experience.
