Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business applications and/or IT services. This involves project planning and monitoring, resource allocation, and project delivery in accordance with standard software development life cycle.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with management, application development staff, IT clients, and vendors to understand application requirements, determine scope, and deliver high-quality application systems and IT-related services.
  • Manage multiple projects within a delegated team, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality of outputs.
  • Monitor work progress, identify issues, and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Direct problem identification, analysis, and solution formulation or work-around.

Solution/Application Development & Implementation
  • For externally sourced or internally developed solutions:
  • Ensure delivered software meets functional and non-functional requirements agreed upon with customers and complies with group-wide IT standards.
  • Deliver quality software with minimal defects through Quality Assurance processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT applications and services.
  • Direct clear and efficient problem identification, analysis, and solution formulation or work-around.
  • Ensure availability of competent support personnel.

Internal-Developed Systems or Solutions
  • Lead software development teams to develop systems, middleware, and other requirements to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Provide 3rd level production support for In-House applications and IT project implementations.
