**Job Title:** Chief Marketing OfficerWe are seeking a highly experienced marketing leader to spearhead our marketing efforts from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy tailored to multiple hotel properties.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan that drives direct booking growth and occupancy goals.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional channels to increase brand awareness and bookings.
  • Oversight of website content/design, SEO, and social media platforms to ensure they support direct booking growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare budget proposals for strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with sales to create promotional offers/packages that drive occupancy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and strategic partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine marketing and sales approaches.
  • Oversight of creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare monthly KPI reports, and recommend data-driven improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing within the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Proven track record in both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel booking platforms, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
  • Experience in sales or business development in the hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
  • Website design and content management experience (WordPress or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate during core Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours and disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
