Junior Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us drive business success by analyzing and improving our processes.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for working with internal teams to elicit and explore feature ideas and requirements. You will meet with clients to analyze and document their individual needs, and create high-level and detailed user stories of solution features and functions, adding to product backlog for updates and prioritisation.

You will translate business requirements into detailed functional / technical requirements, work with the Product and Engineering teams to determine work scope, and elicit confident estimates for delivery timeframes. You will also perform testing of the product to ensure it matches the intended experience for users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Junior Test, Product, or Business Analyst in agile (scrum), cross-functional teams, delivering complex products and projects.
  • Experience in using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to use different visualisation tools to communicate meaning.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of business process mapping and data flow.
  • Ability to document clear business, technical and functional requirements.
  • Collaborative approach to solution option design and promoting effective decisions.
  • Applies structured problem-solving in-line with business analysis best practice.
