Job Summary
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Newport World Resorts' receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, monitoring of AR accounts, and validation of transactions within the SAP AR module.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and process daily invoices and statements of account to prevent delays and errors.
  • Oversee the collection and monitoring of AR accounts, implementing strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Validate all recorded transactions in the SAP AR module to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Audit and reconcile receivables, including hotel and F&B transactions, theater and cinema revenue, mall tenant income, casino transactions, and other event-related activities.
  • Manage credit card payment tagging and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies and optimize cash flow.
  • Process accreditation requirements for corporations, companies, and travel agents seeking sent bill arrangements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in billing and collection, credit assessment, credit analysis, audit, reconciliation, aging, and monitoring of receivables.
  • Prior experience working in the hotel, mall, and theatre industries is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills are required for data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present insights from data to inform business decisions.
  • Proficiency in statistical techniques and tools, including Microsoft Office Excel, Dynamic System Reporting (DRS), SQL, and SAS.
