Job Overview:

The role of a Functional Tester is to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing.

This position involves collaborating with the QA team to analyze requirements, derive test scenarios, and execute comprehensive test cases.

  • Analyzing provided specifications
  • Defining appropriate test plans and strategies
  • Planning, estimating, and prioritizing testing activities
  • Creating comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and data
  • Identifying, recording, and documenting defects accurately
  • Tracking reported defects and discussing them with engineering teams
  • Performing UI, sanity, functional, regression, component, and end-to-end testing
  • Providing accurate status reports on testing activities


Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Software Testing
  • Experienced in using Azure DevOps for managing test plans, executing tests, and generating reports
  • Proven experience in testing web and mobile applications, as well as kiosk-based systems
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test planning, test case detailing, and defect tracking
  • Strong experience in defect reporting, tracking, and management
  • Experience working with database operations and API calls
  • Able to quickly learn custom development frameworks and new technologies
  • Able to work effectively under minimum supervision and short deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
