Customer Service Representative Job Description

Job Overview">

We're seeking a professional and results-driven Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities">
  1. Contact customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve their issues and provide them with accurate information about products and services.
  2. Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach.
  3. Update account information and payment statuses in our database system.
  4. Follow up on broken promises and missed payments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards in all interactions with customers.
  6. Maintain detailed records of all collection activities.
  7. Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.
Requirements">

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English (additional language proficiency is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred.

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
