Job Description

The Assistant Principal for Operations and Compliance plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of schoolwide processes.

This individual operates remotely, leading the implementation and improvement of core processes, providing administrative and instructional support to staff, and working closely with the Principal to ensure the academy operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core Process Leadership
  • Launch and execute all QAS Core Processes, including the school year launch and execution.
  • Update and improve QAS Core Process documentation to reflect current practices.
  • Provide weekly process status updates to the Principal.
  • Instructional Leadership Support
  • Assist the Principal in providing instructional leadership, including preparation for department meetings by identifying issues and formulating meeting agendas.
  • Support curriculum planning, review, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with instructional coaches and department heads to ensure quality instruction.
  • Help coordinate professional development initiatives and follow-ups.
  • Supervision & Staff Coordination
  • Assist with evaluation of lay staff, including scheduling, data collection, and documentation.
  • Supervise completion of teacher and staff responsibilities in accordance with school policies.
  • Provide disciplinary follow-up and ensure faculty adherence to expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding of new teachers.
