Job Opportunity: Property Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a single commercial property. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of a property, including overseeing operations and financial activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly, responding to tenant needs, and ensuring that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations and standards.

The job requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.

The role involves:

  • Responding to tenant needs, resolving problems promptly and ensuring services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations and standards
  • Ensuring periodic regular property inspection and recommending alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary
  • Bidding, securing, and administering service agreements with vendors and suppliers, achieving the best value for facility products and services
  • Coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and walk-through spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department
  • Acting as primary contact with property owners, serving as Owner Representative to ensure objectives are being met
  • Preparing and delivering timely, accurate and complete reports
  • Developing and controlling annual budgets for operating and capital expenses
  • Forecasting management plans and preparing monthly performance, explaining variances
  • Establishing facility preparation, assessments, and recovery strategies, as part of business continuity programs during and after normal business hours
  • Collecting rent and paying expenses in compliance with lease terms
  • Reviewing and reconciling tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges
  • Developing business relationships through membership and participation in professional, industry/trade and civic organizations
Requirements
  • Registered Electrical/Mechanical Engineer required
  • At least 5 years' experience managing a commercial property
