Job Title: Accounting Manager

  • System Soft Technologies is seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to support its corporate headquarters.
  • Hands-on experience in standard U.S. accounting practices and methods is essential for the successful execution of the responsibilities of the position that include preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financials and reporting systems for our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial reports for management and outside agencies on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis as required.
  • Perform project life-cycle cost analysis to include a review of sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders.
  • Provide and interpret financial information to stakeholders.
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare fiscal documentation.
  • Manage the company's financial accounting monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Plan and prepare budget and forecasting documents.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
  • Manage the Finance and Accounting team including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank and account reconciliations, billing, coding, and payments.
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns quarterly and year-end closing documents.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • Direct experience with USA accounting systems.
  • 5 years of experience in managing full accounting duties in a medium- or large-size company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with ERP accounting software Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • High professional standards and ethics with an ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Performance management of support staff.
