Job Description:

The Compliance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of gaming activities by monitoring and investigating patrons' behavior according to established policies and procedures.

  • Patron monitoring and investigation involve identifying suspicious activity and taking necessary actions to prevent potential issues.
  • Due diligence is performed on referrals from Marketing or Cage, as directed by direct superiors.
  • Covered Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR), and Preliminary Suspicious Transaction Reports (PSTR) are prepared in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Compliance-related training is conducted, and record-keeping functions are performed as required.
  • Daily patron gaming and gaming-related data are collected through various reports, system queries, and interactions with other departments.
  • Transactions meeting internal criteria or thresholds are identified, and corresponding reports are prepared.
  • Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence are performed using prescribed tools and methods.
  • Report completeness and accuracy are ensured.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' experience in regulatory, compliance, analytics, risk management, or internal audit with AML focus in the financial services or consulting industry is required.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is preferred but not necessary.
