Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Platform Specialist. As a member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing platform infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Development: Develop and maintain high-quality platform code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational health and performance of production and pre-production environments, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Ephemeral Environment Management: Design and implement ephemeral environments for development, testing, and QA, streamlining the software development lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, development, and product teams to ensure platform services align with development needs.
  • Performance Monitoring & Incident Response: Utilize monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure platform infrastructure adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain high-quality documentation for platform processes, facilitating knowledge transfer and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Years of Experience: At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven background in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization.
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide platform engineers and developers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration across engineering, development, and product teams.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with evolving technologies and rapidly changing requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: A mindset of driving change and improvement within the platform team.
