Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to support the business, including processing financial statements, preparing asset and liability entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling GST transactions.

  • Process financial statements up to Trial Balance stage for lodgement with tax authorities.
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
  • Reconcile GST transactions that have gone through the fund with what has been paid to tax authorities.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting principles and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

  • Graduate degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Australian accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organized.
