Job Description

Are you a skilled broadcast professional seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a Broadcast Switcher who can deliver seamless broadcasts with precision and attention to detail.

  • Operate and maintain broadcast switchers during live television productions.
  • Coordinate with directors, producers, and other production staff to ensure smooth transitions between cameras, graphics, and other elements during live broadcasts.
  • Monitor incoming feeds and ensure all elements are synchronized and ready for air.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.

We value strong organizational and data-entry skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all broadcast equipment is functioning properly before each live event.
  2. Collaborate with camera operators, audio engineers, and other crew members to achieve the desired production quality.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and trends in television production and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or workflow improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a TV Switcher in a live television production environment.
  • Proficiency in operating broadcast switchers, including familiarity with industry-standard models such as Ross Video, Grass Valley, or Blackmagic Design.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
