Job Description

The wing-assistant team is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Support specialist to collaborate with content partners on transferring their video data. This role combines customer support, technical troubleshooting, and hands-on data transfer operations using AWS and automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner Coordination – Engage with content partners via email and Slack to facilitate data transfer.
  2. Technical Support – Troubleshoot and resolve issues when partners encounter problems copying files.
  3. Scripting & Automation – Develop parallelized scripts to download files from a CSV list of URLs and upload them to our S3 storage.
  4. File Management – Organize and move files as needed when partners make errors in their transfers.
  5. Salesforce Support – Provide assistance with Salesforce-related integrations and workflows as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automating file transfers.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  3. Excellent written English communication skills for supporting partners via email and Slack.
  4. Familiarity with Salesforce integrations is beneficial.
  5. Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or data operations is preferred.
  6. Flexibility to work across various time zones.
  7. Reliable internet and stable work setup for handling large file transfers.
