Account Management Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Account Management Specialist with experience in the wholesale and retail industry to oversee invoicing, payment collection, customer account reconciliation, and collect payments from retail companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send accurate invoices based on sales orders, purchase orders, and delivery confirmations.
  • Process payments and apply them to customer accounts.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due invoices.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment variances or short-pays.
  • Collaborate with the sales and shipping departments to validate order completion and billing accuracy.
  • Update customer account records in the accounting system.
  • Assist with credit checks and establish customer credit limits in coordination with management.
  • Prepare AR reports and metrics for internal review and forecasting.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with wholesale terms, shipping/delivery documentation, and EDI billing (if applicable).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
