Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and analyzing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Setting up projects using existing templates and prebuilds in our job management system and take-off software
  • Performing take-offs, calculating material quantities, and estimating labor costs based on project scope
  • Issuing pricing requests to suppliers/sub-contractors for lighting packages, switchboard packages, and specialty trades
  • Preparing and submitting tender proposals to our current estimator for review

Requirements

  • 3+ years related experience
  • simPRO Job Management System and/or Groundplan Take-off software experience
  • Prior experience with an Australian company, preferably an Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC company
  • Prior experience in the electrical trade either in the field or engineering background
  • Prior experience with Auto-cad
  • Prior experience with Monday.com
  • AU Construction Experience
  • Electrical Engineering Experience
