MEPF Estimator

About the role

Ambient Temp Innovation Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Estimator to join our growing construction team. As a full-time MEPF Estimator, you will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates and analysis for our construction projects in Metro Manila. This critical role directly supports the company's strategic objectives and profitability.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEPF components of construction projects
• Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify and quantify required materials, labor, and equipment
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure estimates are accurate
• Review and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes in scope, materials, or market conditions
• Develop and maintain cost databases, historical data, and estimating tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process
• Provide input and recommendations to the project team on ways to optimize costs and improve profitability
• Attend construction meetings with clients and the project team for coordination and review of the estimate's alignment with the actual construction

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience as an MEPF Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of MEPF systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Proficient in using estimating software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in cost estimating
