As a Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in our threat detection and response team. With expertise in network security concepts, TCP/IP networking, and various security products, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events from multiple sources, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and partners will ensure seamless interactions and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems using strong TCP/IP networking skills
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade Firewall (FW), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Internal Vulnerability Scanners (IVS), and Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS) platforms
  • Analyze and respond to security events from FWs, IDS, IPS, AV, and other security data sources
  • Interface with customers and partners in a polite, positive, and professional manner
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services
  • Respond in a timely manner to support tickets and adhere to documented SLA
  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intermediate skills/knowledge in network security concepts, TCP/IP networking, Cisco network security products, Fortinet security products, Palo Alto security products, and Juniper/NetScreen security products
  • 1 or more years of information security or networking experience
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
  • Self-managed and team-oriented
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
