Financial Leadership Opportunity

As a forward-thinking and dynamic business, we are seeking an experienced Finance Director to head up our finance team and provide strategic support to our senior management team.

The ideal candidate will ensure the financial integrity of the finance function and develop strong business planning, financial control and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Finance Team: Deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board and departments and divisions.
  • Developing Financial Reporting Processes: Evolve the Company's financial reporting processes and business systems.
  • Supporting Budgetary Planning: Collaborate with the MD and the company in budgetary planning and forecasting processes.
  • Ensuring Financial Integrity: Ensure all financial accounting and administration functions, internal controls and reconciliations are performed properly.
  • Producing Management Accounts: Generate and interpret management accounts.
  • Year End Audit: Ensure the year end audit is performed properly.
  • Cash Flow and Budgeting: Generate and maintain the groups cash flow and budgeting requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory matters.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Reporting and Cost Control: Report on budget variances and cost control.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentoring to the finance team.

Requirements include:

  • Accounting Qualification: ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
  • Financial Experience: 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role (Financial Manager or FD).
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Forecasting Software: Experience working with financial forecasting software a strong advantage.
