Job Title: Offshore Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled financial services professional to join our team as an offshore accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for performing bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, managing monthly closes, and ensuring timely reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing monthly closes and ensuring timely reporting
  • Supporting future services such as bill pay, invoicing, taxes, and general back-office accounting functions
  • Collaborating directly with our internal team to build efficient workflows and client support systems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must
  • Experience with Xero is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in US tax is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is a bonus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • A self-starter who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly to evolving needs
