Job Title: Intermediate System Administrator

As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to administer and maintain the Citrix infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to users and ensuring that all systems are running efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong technical skills, particularly in relation to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. You should have experience with system administration, scripting, and troubleshooting, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or 5 years relevant work experience required.
  • ITIL Foundation, PMO Foundation, and Prince2 are preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years' demonstrated experience supporting Windows OS versions 2003 and up.
  • Minimum of 4 years' demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft core infrastructure services (Windows Server, AD, DNS, Group Policy, performance monitoring and analysis, etc.).
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
  • Citrix certifications: CCA, CCAA.
  • System Center End Point Protection, McAfee AV.
  • SQL experience; Microsoft certifications MCP, MCSE, MCSA.
  • VMware/Hyper-V experience; Microsoft Windows Server all versions; Active Directory; DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP; Microsoft SQL Server; PowerShell scripting.
  • Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V); High Availability and Disaster Recovery; knowledge of backup tools (Backup Exec and NetApp appliances).
  • Experience working with global partners in a 24x7 environment; global/geo-dispersed teams; cross-functional collaboration.
