About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with appropriate standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of technical strategies and content related to asset integrity, reliability, costs, and product quality.
  • Evaluating the design/technical integrity of production installations throughout their lifecycle, including coordination and responsibility for the delivery of Technical Authority roles in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Providing engineering support to production operations, including input into and support of commissioning/start-up of new or modified plant and troubleshooting of existing plant.
  • Ensuring appropriate engineering discipline controls for projects and plant changes throughout the opportunity realization.
About You

To be considered for this role, you should possess a university degree in instrumentation & control/electronics & instrumentation/electronics/electrical or a related field.

You should have mastery knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation and experience in a manufacturing or technical support environment.

Additional requirements include:

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings (PEFS, instrument datasheets) to perform QC checks on SPI data.
  • Expertise with the use of SPI, CAD, and GSAP tools.
  • Practical knowledge of international society of automation (ISA) standards and national electric code.
  • Bachelor's degree holder with Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
  • Skill level competency with strong team working skills, self-motivation, drive for performance, customer focus, stakeholder engagement, and ability to work in high performing teams.

Able to multi-task, prioritize, and ensure delivery of priorities as promised. Work without close supervision, and work through others to deliver results.
