Job Overview

The Credentialing Coordinator role empowers professionals to facilitate seamless provider onboarding, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This dynamic position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage applications, conduct primary source verification, and maintain accurate credentialing databases.


Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Credentialing Support: Utilize administrative acumen to manage applications, verify credentials, and maintain database integrity.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, serving as a key point of contact for providers and external entities for credentialing-related inquiries and processes.
  • Privileging and Onboarding Assistance: Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Reporting and Process Contribution: Generate credentialing reports, identify and resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Administrative Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting or regulated environment.
  • Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
