Job Summary

This role is focused on providing high-quality administrative support while managing financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting: Manage daily bookkeeping in Xero, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Transaction Processing: Process transactions from platforms like Stripe and Wise.
    • Compliance and Best Practices: Maintain compliance with accounting standards and implement best practices.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with tutors and clients via TutorCruncher platform.
    • Email and WhatsApp Management: Manage email and WhatsApp communications.
    • Record-Keeping and Follow-Up: Follow up on lessons logs and payments, and assist with record-keeping.
    • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience with Xero proficiency and 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with Dext, TutorCruncher, Stripe, and Wise is advantageous, knowledge of UK accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) or willingness to undertake training, and excellent English communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, self-motivated with remote work experience, and availability to work part-time with UK time zone flexibility.
