Chief Technology Officer Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary tech leader to shape the future of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy & Leadership:
    • Define and communicate the company-wide IT strategy and roadmap, ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals and deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.
    • Align technology investments with business priorities by developing and implementing effective IT governance frameworks.
    • Advise leadership on emerging technologies and their impact, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Innovation & Engagement:
    • Foster a culture of innovation and digital transformation through employee empowerment and cross-functional collaboration, promoting IT literacy and driving business growth.
    • Promote transparent communication of tech initiatives and build strategic partnerships that drive business value and enhance our competitive edge.
  • Product Development:
    • Lead UX/UI strategy across platforms, integrating research, design, and usability to create exceptional customer experiences.
    • Define product vision and roadmap aligned with market trends and business goals, ensuring products meet evolving customer needs and expectations.
    • Oversee product lifecycle and performance optimization, leveraging data-driven insights and agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Architecture & Engineering:
    • Guide enterprise architecture for scalable, sustainable solutions that minimize technical debt and maximize ROI.
    • Mentor technical teams and promote best practices in development and integration, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Cybersecurity:
    • Oversee security architecture, risk management, and incident response, protecting our organization's sensitive data and intellectual property.
    • Lead secure software design and implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to identify potential risks and mitigate them proactively.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance:
    • Lead cyber risk assessments and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring our organization remains vigilant and proactive in addressing emerging threats and regulations.
    • Develop and implement data security strategies aligned with international standards such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
    • Oversee IT audit frameworks and internal control enhancements, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout our organization.
    Requirements
    • Minimum 10 years in senior technology leadership, ideally as CTO or equivalent, with a strong track record of driving innovation and delivering results.
    • Proven experience in cloud technologies and software engineering, with expertise in digital transformation and IT operations.
    • Strong background in IT operations, enterprise architecture, and governance, with a deep understanding of data privacy regulations and industry standards.
    • Demonstrated success in product development and UX strategy, with excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
