Finance Expertise Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading month-end close processes, analyzing reports, and providing financial insights that inform business decisions.

  • Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Pull and analyze reports from Xero, building and maintaining Excel-based financial models (including three-way forecasting).
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycle.
  • Manage intercompany journals, transactions, and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Consolidate reporting across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
  • Reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data, ensuring accuracy in recurring revenue streams.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights that help shape business decisions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering confidence and clarity around numbers.
  • Prepare SaaS Metrics reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in our Finance processes.
  • Tax filings and compliance – Income tax, transfer pricing, GST, FBT.
  • Prepare monthly Management Reporting and oversee Year End Financial Statement compilation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • CA or CPA qualified with Australia or New Zealand experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 years accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close processes – end to end, and intercompany accounting and reporting.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue models.
  • Experience with Stripe.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, including financial and three-way modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
