Strategic Alliance Director

This position is responsible for leading strategic partnerships in various regions to drive business growth and market expansion.

  • Build strong relationships with key partners at all levels.
  • Foster awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Linux and cloud software ecosystem.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for joint offerings.

The Director will lead a team of Business Development Managers, help them identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead partnerships with companies in APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams.
  • Deliver on targets, objectives, and provide a voice of the partner.
  • Lead executive interlocks between IHV and Canonical leadership.

The ideal candidate has experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, excellent communication and presentation skills, and autonomy to work independently.
