The role of a Marketing Operations Specialist is highly sought after in the industry due to its unique blend of technical and analytical skills.

This position demands a high level of proficiency in SQL, as well as experience with Salesforce CRM and Marketo. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in database management, data analysis, and marketing operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data Quality Management: Managing data quality of contacts in our data warehouse, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Audience Segmentation: Building and maintaining audience segments to support Marketing campaigns, providing insights into customer behavior and preferences.
  • Email Program Creation: Creating audience lists for email programs, developing targeted campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaboration and Insights: Collaborating with team members on program, email, and database insights, providing data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Platform Learning: Learning or mastering additional platforms in our Marketing Technology stack, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on SQL query building experience, demonstrating expertise in database management and data analysis.
  • Analytical mindset, with a curiosity and passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Prior experience in a Marketing team or function, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Collaborative team player, eager to jump in and learn, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Marketo or Salesforce CRM preferred, but not required.
