AML Compliance Manager

We're looking for an experienced professional to lead our Integrated Compliance Services (ICS) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing solutions that meet Manulife compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a breadth and depth of experience in AML/ATF compliance, Sanctions Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver successful initiatives based on project objectives and success criteria.
  • Promote collaboration among Business SMEs, the Business Transformation Office, the Project Management Office, and Information Services partners.
  • Produce high-quality business requirements through the collection, analysis, validation, and documentation of business users' or stakeholders' needs.
  • Identify and escalate key risks, issues, and dependencies, as well as cost-benefit tradeoffs among various options to align with overall project and program objectives.
  • Apply process modeling and analysis skills to identify process improvements, gap analysis between current and future state, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage effective change within projects, ensuring changes to business requirements are effectively managed to reduce impact to projects.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis (BA) or Project Management (PM), with knowledge of project management systems or leading successful projects.
  • Understanding of AML/ATF compliance, Sanctions Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.
  • A college or university degree and/or equivalent experience.
