Logistics Coordinator Position

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Remote.

This role is crucial in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the trucking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements
  • Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers
  • Maintain communication with drivers to provide assistance and solve any issues that may arise during transit
  • Coordinate load assignments and track the status of deliveries to ensure on-time service
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to scheduling or deliveries
  • Utilize dispatching software and tracking systems to maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or fleet management
  • Strong understanding of trucking routes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and technology
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
