Remote ELA Teacher (6-12)

We are seeking a skilled and passionate English Language Arts teacher to join our team of virtual educators.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching English Language Arts to students in grades 6-12, with a proven track record of creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.

As a remote ELA teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality virtual lessons, utilizing online tools and resources to differentiate instruction and support student growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering live lessons: Create engaging and interactive virtual lessons that meet curriculum standards and pacing guides.
  • Assessing student progress: Evaluate and grade student work to track progress and support student growth.
  • Providing feedback: Offer constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.

Preferred qualifications include one or more years of teaching experience and proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources.

Responsibilities

Requirements

ELA Certification: Hold a valid US state-issued teaching certification in ELA (6-12).

Proficiency in Technology: Be proficient in using virtual teaching tools and resources, including Learning Management Systems and other educational software.
