Online Math Educator

Proximity Learning is seeking an experienced teacher to join our team as a Virtual Math Teacher. This role involves teaching math to students in a virtual classroom environment.
As a Virtual Math Teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering online classes, and providing feedback to students. You will also need to use online tools to differentiate lessons and engage students.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math education and experience working with virtual learning platforms. They will also be able to communicate effectively with students and colleagues remotely.
Key qualifications include:
- Active US state-issued math teaching certification (International certifications not accepted)
- Social Security number
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools
Preferred qualifications include one or more years of teaching experience. Flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work from home are major benefits of this role.
