Senior Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on designing and developing software systems for data ingestion, querying, and processing. You will work closely with colleagues on code reviews and collaborate to ensure high-quality software is delivered to our users.

  • Create software systems using C#, Kotlin, Java, and leveraging Redis, Kafka, and SQL Server/T-SQL.
  • Implement RESTFUL APIs endpoints, modify high-volume endpoints, and build microservices.
  • Design databases and create stored procedures to support efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

You will also be responsible for writing unit and integration tests to verify endpoint functionality and driving other projects as needed or when business requirements change.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an Agile and Scrum environment.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft stack ( .net/.net core), microservices, GRPC, and API development.
  • Knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
