About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead our development team and oversee the creation of high-quality software products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and productivity.

  • Leading a team of software engineers to deliver complex software projects on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and desktop applications.
  • Providing technical leadership in all aspects of our software development processes.
  • Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.), full-stack development, modern architectures (microservices, event-driven), CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of software development practices, including OOP, functional programming, scripting, UX best practices, unit testing, TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum, and database management (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Proven track record of managing software products, leading teams, and delivering innovative solutions under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and client management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
