Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and champion quality best practices.
  • Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts, leveraging automation tools to increase efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Create detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases aligned with business goals and quality standards.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Role is 90% manual testing and 10% automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools.
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience working in Azure with testing and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
