Video Editor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience editing direct response video ads that convert and possess a data-driven mindset.

This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and is looking to grow beyond just editing into strategy and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit mini-VSLs (1-3 minutes) with strategic B-roll placement and compelling flow
  • Create non-narrated performance ads (30s-1min) with seamless B-roll storytelling
  • Develop UGC talking-head style content (30s-1min) that feels authentic yet polished
  • Utilize AI-generated visuals using cutting-edge tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, and Veo3
  • Analyze performance metrics: hook rates, hold rates, unique outbound CTR and make proactive concept iterations based on the data
  • Edit 12-18 video pieces per week (complexity-dependent)
  • Prioritize quality over quantity, aiming for 12 strong edits rather than 20 mediocre ones

Requirements:

  • Proven experience editing direct response video ads that actually convert
  • Understanding of performance metrics: hook rates, hold rates, unique outbound CTR
  • Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with creative strategists
  • Data-driven mindset - ability to iterate based on performance data
  • Comfortable sourcing footage from TikTok/Instagram smaller creators + internal content bank
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Ambition to grow beyond just editing into strategy and team leadership
