Job Overview

Real Estate Portfolio Strategist Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive value enhancement and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Provide asset management support, financial analysis, and business planning, including annual business plans, valuation models, leasing analyses, ongoing monitoring, and reporting of investment performance.
  • Evaluate portfolio composition on an ongoing basis and provide necessary support and direction during all phases of the assets lifecycle from acquisition through development, leasing, asset management, and disposition.
  • Analysis of ongoing portfolio risk and cash flow requirements, drafting lease documents and amendments.
  • Direct property managers towards optimizing portfolio assets and engage with contractors and vendors accountable during capital project lifecycles.
  • Prepare monthly reporting materials and assist with management of portfolio insurance.
  • Help create processes and KPIs for the team.
Ideal Qualifications
  • Substantial background in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
  • Fluent in commercial real estate terminology and structures.
  • Extensive experience reviewing LOIs, drafting leases and amendments, working with brokers, contractors, and property managers.
  • Exceptional underwriting and financial modeling skills.
  • Understanding of the full real estate capital stack and ability to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Experience providing support with complex financial modeling, leasing analysis, and investment monitoring.
  • Experience preparing internal and external presentations and IC memos.
