Job Description

We're seeking a skilled database professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable database solutions, with a strong background in PostgreSQL and MariaDB.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, leveraging their knowledge of cloud databases, schema design, and Aurora optimization.

  • Design and implement scalable database solutions using PostgreSQL and MariaDB
  • Develop internal tooling to support product teams and enable self-service by stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to scope and fulfill data-related needs
  • Participate in production troubleshooting and scheduled after-hours support rotations when needed
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB, in AWS RDS environments
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance
  • Familiarity with Java-based ORMs and their impact on schema design
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant environments, ideally using schema-per-customer models
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams
