Senior SMSF Accountant Role Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Class Super and excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for processing and managing SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super, as well as preparing workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super
  • Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements
  • Ensure compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, formulas, data analysis)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and accuracy
