Job Title: Digital Content Creator

We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy individual to produce engaging, news-focused short-form videos and written content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality, social-first news content, including short news recaps, stitched videos, explainers, fact-checks, and commentary.
  • Research trending topics and conduct thorough fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Develop compelling angles for news stories, scripting and creating a narrative flow that resonates with audiences.
  • Write captivating captions, headlines, and hooks optimized for different platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and viral content formats to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or digital journalism is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, their audiences, and content trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
  • Proficiency in video editing and design software (Capcut, Canva, or equivalent)
  • A portfolio/reel showcasing editing skills and social-first video content is required.
