Immersive Blast Design Tools Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled developer to join our Digital Solutions team and contribute to the creation of next-generation immersive blast design tools. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions that transform the mining industry.

As a developer in this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced algorithms, crafting seamless and engaging user experiences, and ensuring seamless integration of our software with the practical needs of our customers. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business Analysts, UX and Subject Matter Experts to build cutting-edge software that meets the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced algorithms for immersive blast design tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of software with customer requirements
  • Develop user interface and workflow designs that prioritize usability and performance

You will be based in Australia and work closely with geographically distributed teams across Australia and overseas. We offer a flexible, remote setup that encourages teamwork and support.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in C# or similar programming languages
  • Experience with large 3D datasets and spatial algorithm development
  • Understanding of 3D rendering fundamentals and low-level graphics APIs
  • User interface and workflow design experience
  • Ability to write high-performance algorithms for computationally intensive tasks
  • Proven success in cross-functional team environments
  • Experience developing mining software or working within mining-related domains
