Job Opportunity

As a seasoned SQL expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of business application services by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to ensure seamless transition of application features from development to production environments.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business application service operations.
  • Assist in automating existing manual activities to enhance consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders as part of incident/problem management.
  • Manage escalations related to operational topics.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in SQL development (any major RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)
  • Proficient in writing queries, stored procedures, functions, and troubleshooting database performance issues
  • Experience in cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with incident and problem management processes
  • Experience using collaboration/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Understanding of Agile practices (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) with some release management exposure preferred
  • Strong ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
