Job Description

The Tax Supervisor role involves overseeing the delivery of quality tax services to clients, providing tax advisory, and managing multiple operations within the tax practice area. This position requires expertise in US taxation principles, procedures, and laws.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of federal tax returns and timely creation of tax-related documentation.
  • Delivery of efficient completion of quality tax returns and excellent client service.
  • Conducting a second-level review of tax provisions, calculations, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Driving team production throughout the cycle, delegating work to maximise efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • C.A./MBA (Finance) degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive functional experience in a relevant role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of other tools and platforms.
  • US taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Corporate taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Internal Audit principles and process knowledge.
  • Document and report preparation for management information and control.
  • Accounting systems and software knowledge.
  • Understanding of tax operations of shared service organizations and In-house Captive Centers.
  • Communication, presentation, budget management, and team leadership skills.
