Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a senior tax professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of individual income tax returns, business activity statements, and other financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Preparation and lodgement of individual income tax returns, business activity statements, and fringe benefits tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparation and lodgement of installment activity statements and quarterly superannuation payments.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintaining client accounting files, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, and processing payroll transactions.
  • Account Management: Uploading invoice payments for clients and reviewing work prepared by junior accountants.
  • Tax Planning: Providing expert advice on tax planning strategies and trust distribution minutes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
